 Tom and Sara Eiden purchased what is now known as Starved Rock Harley-Davidson/Buell in April, 2000. Tom had experienced a great deal of success in his 30+ years in the banking industry; and his wife Sara is a registered nurse, and practiced for over 25 years. After selling their family-owned community bank, at 55 years old, Tom needed something to do. A former jet-engine mechanic in the Air Force, and a full-time motorcycling enthusiast, Tom and Sara decided to join the Harley-Davidson family as dealers. | Ground was broken on a brand new, state-of-the-art facility on the fateful day of September 11, 2001.
